This will be the final such post. I will watch the finale this weekend, but I will spare the critique. I am considering it a wake &#8211; you never want to say anything bad about the deceased. And <em>The Walking Dead<\/em> is now dead to me. I have listened to all the excuses and explanations, but I have finally decided that the show is just terrible. It is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.durkota.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/TWD2.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-313\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-313 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.durkota.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/TWD2-300x157.jpg\" alt=\"TWD2\" width=\"300\" height=\"157\" srcset=\"https:\/\/durkota.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/TWD2-300x157.jpg 300w, https:\/\/durkota.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/TWD2-768x402.jpg 768w, https:\/\/durkota.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/TWD2-676x354.jpg 676w, https:\/\/durkota.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/TWD2.jpg 860w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>terribly written. It is terribly directed. And there are terrible acting performances. There is no longer any redeemable quality to this show whatsoever. I have grown weary of the pointless and illogical plot twists. There were moments of potential, but the lack of creativity was astounding: wasted characters, insipid dialogue, and irrational choices. The zombies have become my favorite character.\u00a0 I wish them well.<\/p>\n<p>Other random musings from last week:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The <em>Black Sails<\/em> season was so good it inspired me to write a pirate-themed short story.<\/li>\n<li>I posted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.durkota.net\/2016\/03\/book-review-the-ram-by-erica-crockett\/\">my review of Erica Crockett&#8217;s <em>The Ram<\/em><\/a> on Wednesday. You should definitely check it out.<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t watch college basketball, but I successfully picked three of the final four.
